Hot Rods Hints Here are some helpful maintenance tips from the Hot Rods team of professional boat detailers on how you can keep your boat ship shape with Hot Rods Marine Care Products. Got a tip of your own? Email us at info@hotrodstackle.com and we'll put it up here!
Longer Casts with Rod Shield When detailing your fishing rods, liberally spray Rod Shield onto a paper towel and run the paper towel in around and through each one of your guides. Not only will your guides be protected, but the slick properties of Rod Shield will allow the line to slide through the guides quicker and straighter making for longer and more accurate casts. -Pete Gluszek, Team Hot Rods member & B.A.S.S. Tour Pro
Boat Wash in the Bilge This works great for trailered boats. Pour four ounces of Hot Rods Boat Wash Concentrate in the bilge of your boat before you put it in the water. Go out on the water and have fun. When you return and your boat is back on its trailer, just open the drain plug, dirt and grime are washed away. The low foaming action of Hot Rods Boat Wash means the bilge won't fill with suds, and doesn't need to be rinsed. - Mike Merola; Merola Boatworks Brick, NJ
Don't Let It Haze! WAX ON...WAX IN. Both Restoration Wax and Ultra Wax are designed to be true one step waxes. That means there is no need to wait for the wax to haze or dry before removing it. Just apply the wax and buff it into the boat surface. When all the wax material is gone you will reveal a deep natural shine! -Hot Rods R&D Department
